Crafted by Rui Madeira from the classic trio of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, this deep-violet 750 ml bottle at 13.5% volume marries ripe cherry compote and red-fruit intensity with subtle spice, vanilla and coffee from gentle wood ageing. The Montes Ermos expression

Montes Ermos Red 2022 is vinified with precision: pre-fermentative cold soak, controlled stainless-steel fermentation, extended post-fermentative maceration, and a short stay for part of the blend in third-year extra-fine oak to add gentle sweetness without masking the fruit’s vibrancy. Store lying down at 15°C and serve at 16-18°C alongside roasted meats, bacalhau dishes or mature cheeses to savour its rich chocolate-tinged length at Vin’s Winery.
