The original Portuguese red wine, created in 1846 and still the nation’s biggest-selling red. Made predominantly from the native Castelão grape (locally known as Periquita) grown on the sandy soils of the Setúbal Peninsula, this juicy, medium-bodied red delivers ripe blackberry, plum, cherry and gentle spice.
