Crafted by Luís Sottomayor from A-grade grapes grown around the historic Pinhão valley – including Quinta do Caêdo and Quinta do Porto – this deep-ruby 750 ml bottle at 12.5% volume earned 16 points from Revista de Vinhos for its bright strawberry-raspberry fruit, black plum depth, resin and tobacco nuance, plus a fresh, finely structured palate with silky tannins and elegant spice. The Esteva expression

Esteva Red 2023 is made for immediate pleasure: hand-picked grapes are gently destemmed, crushed and fermented in stainless steel at 28°C with careful maceration, followed by natural winter clarification in the cool Douro before the final blend is assembled in Vila Nova de Gaia. No oak ageing keeps the fruit pure and the wine vibrantly fresh. Serve at 15-17°C with grilled meats, pasta, pizza or simply on its own – ready to drink now and over the next 4-6 years at Vin’s Winery.
