Crafted by José Manuel Sousa Soares from traditional Port varieties and aged 3–5 years in seasoned wooden pipes, this light-reddish 750 ml bottle at 19% volume earned 16.5 points from Revista de Vinhos for its perfect balance of fresh and dried fruit, gentle vanilla and a charming cherry finish – pure, approachable Port tradition, available at Vin’s Winery online shop.
The Dalva Tawny expression
Dalva Tawny Port is gently oxidised in old wooden pipes, allowing slow evaporation and the development of its signature nutty, caramelised character while keeping vibrant fruit alive. Serve lightly chilled at 12-13ºC in a proper Port glass – on its own as a delightful digestif or alongside caramel, vanilla or cream desserts to enjoy its elegant harmony at Vin’s Winery.
